About FRANK
FRANK helps restaurants attract more guests, increase margins, and create more time for what matters most. We build software that supports service instead of getting in the way; intuitive, reliable, and designed to feel like a teammate rather than again another system to manage.
Why we build
Restaurants don't exist to manage software. They exist to welcome guests, create memorable experiences, and bring people together. Yet behind many great restaurants lies a patchwork of disconnected systems, fragmented workflows, and manual tasks that consume valuable time and energy.
That's why we build software that helps restaurants spend less time managing systems and more time focusing on what truly matters: the guest.
How we work
The best ideas don't come from behind a desk. We build alongside chefs, managers, and hosts who face these challenges every day. By listening, testing, and continuously improving, we create products that restaurants genuinely enjoy using.
About the role
We're looking for a Senior Front-End Developer who wants to help build something that truly changes the way restaurants run their day-to-day operations.
As a Senior Front-End Developer, you'll do much more than implement designs. You'll help shape how the product feels in the hands of real restaurant teams. From performance and usability to the smallest interaction details, your work will have a direct impact on how smoothly service runs.
If you enjoy thinking beyond the code, contributing to product decisions, and building interfaces that people genuinely love using, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

Take the lead on front-end architecture decisions and contribute to the technical roadmap.
-
Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and back-end developers.
-
Turn product ideas into intuitive, fast, and reliable user experiences.
-
Think beyond implementation and contribute to how the product should work, not just how it should be built.
-
Help establish a design system and front-end standards that can scale alongside the product.
-
Be trusted with the freedom to implement thoughtful, high-impact solutions.
-
Act as a sparring partner for the team on UX, product decisions, and scalability.
What we're looking for
-
Strong experience with Vue.js (or a similar modern front-end framework).
-
An affinity for UX and performance optimization is a strong plus.
-
A keen eye for clean, structured, and scalable front-end code.
-
Experience with, or interest in, Tailwind CSS and component-based design systems.

The ability to translate designs into intuitive, high-quality user interfaces.
-
Understanding of API integrations and collaborating with back-end systems.
-
Experience with Git, CI/CD workflows, and testing practices.
-
A strong focus on performance, usability, and attention to detail.
-
Fluent in both Dutch and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The vision you bring
-
Ownership: you take responsibility for the front end and actively contribute to both technical and product decisions.
-
You think product-first, making choices that improve the experience for real users.
-
You care about how things feel, not just how they function.
-
You enjoy helping others grow through code reviews, mentoring, and collaboration.
-
You thrive in a fast-moving environment with short feedback loops and rapid iteration.
-
You're ready for the next step: building, shaping, and growing alongside a product that truly makes an impact.
What we offer
-
A role with significant freedom, responsibility, and direct influence on the success of a fast-growing startup. You'll join an ambitious, entrepreneurial team in Rotterdam, with plenty of room to bring your ideas and vision to life.
-
A live product with a clear vision for the future and exciting challenges ahead.
-
The opportunity to work alongside an experienced and entrepreneurial team.
-
The possibility of equity participation for the right strategic fit.
-
A competitive salary based on your experience, 25 vacation days, and travel reimbursement.
-
An annual mandatory dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant with a guest of your choice, fully hosted by FRANK.
-
Dedicated time and budget for learning, industry events, and personal development.
-
The opportunity to work on a product that is making a real impact in the restaurant industry.
