OUR STORY
Born in Rotterdam
A place where kitchens work hard, teams move fast and great dishes are built on discipline, craftsmanship and trust. Where long nights are normal, standards are high and there’s little patience for tools that don’t work with you.
FRANK was founded by Arthur Bassant in 2025 and quickly earned the trust of leading restaurants in Dutch gastronomy. Through years of working closely with the industry — from chefs and owners to operators and managers — the same frustration kept coming up.
Restaurant technology often looks sleek and modern on the surface, with polished websites and impressive features. But underneath, systems turn out to be complex, unintuitive and harder to work with than they need to be.
FRANK is built for restaurateurs who believe in the power of simplicity.

Bassant
Arthur founded HEERLIJK.nl in 2007, marking his first step into the culinary world. For over 15 years, he has developed digital concepts for restaurants and now supports more than 2,000 businesses across the Netherlands and Belgium each year. His strength lies in building strong concepts and lasting partnerships.
